How do I know the child I sponsor is receiving my donations?

The child you sponsor will recieve the care they need through the field director of the ministry.  The funds are not given to the children directly as this could be manipulated or misused by by the child or caregivers.

Can I communicate with my sponsored child?

Absolutely.  We encourage it!  For the child's protection, we ask that you either send a letter to the child to Mindanao Blessings International, c/o New Life Assembly of God, Las Aguadas Extension, Purok 3 Carmen Annex, Ozamiz City, Mindanao, Philippines 7200. Please include the full name of the child in the letter, not on the outside of the envelope.  If you wish to send an email, please use the following address: mbimissions1@gmail.com

Can I send a package to my sponsored child?

Yes, of course!  Every child loves to receive a care package. Please identify the child's name on the inside of the package.  Suggested items to include are: clothing, shoes, toiletries (no liquids, but toothpaste is ok), toys, books, school supplies, backpacks, hard candy (no chocolates or liquids), or anything that is appropriate for the child's age and is capable of being internationally shipped.  Please do not send cash in the package.  Corruption and theft are high in the Philippines - it will never make it to your child. Please send your package to: Mindanao Blessings International, c/o New Life Assembly of God, Las Aguadas Extension, Purok 3 Carmen Annex, Ozamiz City, Mindanao, Philippines 7200.

Can I receive a letter from my sponsored child?

Yes! We encourage children to communicate with their sponsors, and to respond when they receive a letter, email or package from you.

Will I receive a report on my giving?

Yes, we will provide you with a report on your total giving for the year in January-February of the following year.
