MBI House of Blessing Program

The House of Blessing ("Balay sa Panalangin") in Bisaya was an added program to the growing ministry of MBI shortly after one of Vangie's visits in the Philippines in July of 2001. It was during this time that she saw firsthand the devastating cry for help among the Filipino people. Vangie was staying with Pastors James and Cecille at their church campus. Many would come knocking at the church's door for help. Poverty, joblessness, death of a loved one or bread earner, large number of children, hopelessness, addiction, and other situations led people to the church for help. People need the Lord. They also need help, hope and a purpose in life. God spoke to Vangie's heart to do something to solve this problem among her people, so she answered the call by creating the House of Blessing.  The House of Blessing provides clothing, shoes, and bags of basic food items for those in desperate need.

The program provides the funding for the field office to purchase food items and make them available to families in desperate need.  MBI also collects used clothing and shoes and ships them to the Philippines.

Basic items include rice, beans, coffee, sugar, canned milk, canned tuna, canned sardines and eggs.

We provide food and clothing once a week to those  who fall into these categories. Since 2001, The House of Blessing  has truly been a huge blessing to several hundred families.

Our goal is to be able to raise enough funds and collect enough clothes and shoes to provide a continual blessing to as many families as we can. Please join us to help the poor, make a difference and change lives in Mindanao, Philippines.
